COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass" by the Special Committee on
Professional Registration and Licensing by a vote of 11 to 0.

This bill makes a technical change to the laws regarding the
licensing boards for which the Administrative Hearing Commission
conducts hearings by changing the listing for the Board for
Architects, Professional Engineers, and Land Surveyors to its
current name, the Board for Architects, Professional Engineers,
Professional Land Surveyors, and Landscape Architects.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2008, FY 2009, and
FY 2010.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill updates Chapter 621,
RSMo, relating to the Administrative Hearing Commission.

Testifying for the bill was Senator Nodler.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
